Ben Wheatley has a huge range of directing styles, bending genres and minds across the board! From his early career directing viral commercials and the self-funded features Down Terrace and Kill List, he went on to release the darkly humorous Sightseers which catapulted him onto the global stage.
In-between shooting High Rise, starring Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons and Sienna Miller and Free Fire featuring an ensemble cast, Ben continued to flex his muscles in advertising directing funny, off-the-wall ads for T-Mobile, Premier Inn and Thomas Cook amongst others.
His style takes on chameleon-like guises from costume drama remake Rebecca to the high-octane Meg 2. Hot on the heels of that, he’s soon to release his indie Bulk, a sci-fi thriller journeying through alternate realities using experimental film techniques and stop-frame animation. And in addition, his next Hollywood extravaganza Normal, a highly anticipated Neo-Western starring Bob Odenkirk.
