Peter William Glanz

Peter William Glanz is a British American writer/director based out of Los Angeles. He recently co-wrote Marvel’s new ‘CAPTAIN AMERICA’, starring Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford, directed by his frequent collaborator, Julius Onah. He also recently completed a script about the whirlwind life of Jean-Michel Basquiat entitled ‘SAMO LIVES’ with Julius directing, Kelvin Harrison starring as well as an adaptation of Philip Roth’s final novel ‘NEMESIS’ with Pablo Larrain’s Fabula producing. Before that, he adapted the novel ‘CHOPIN AND BEYOND’ for Paramount with Martin Scorsese attached to direct and produce. And his script ‘HUMAN ERROR’, inspired by one of the worst “Broken Arrows” in American history,  is currently in development with Jon M. Chu producing.

On the directing front, after his short ‘RELATIONSHIP IN FOUR DAYS’ premiered in Cannes and Sundance, Peter made his directorial debut with ‘THE LONGEST WEEK’ starring Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde. He just wrapped his follow-up film ‘SAVAGE HOUSE’ for Paramount, an absurdist satire about a family of social-climbers in 18th century England – starring Richard E. Grant, Claire Foy, and Bel Powley. 

Peter has directed numerous commercials for iconic brands such as Sonos (ft. Suki Waterhouse), Algorand, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs, RAM, YSL, Swarovski, as well as the music video for Carly Rae Jepson’s video ‘I REALLY LIKE YOU’ starring Tom Hanks, which has over 300 million views.
