The nominations for the Edinburgh Television Awards 2022 have been announced!

Merman are nominated for Production Company of the Year.

Also nominated in this category are: Clapperboard Studios,  ITN Productions, Objective Media Group, SISTER and Two Brothers Pictures.

Merman was founded in 2014 by award-winning duo Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford, and under their leadership Merman Television has won multiple accolades including BAFTAs and multiple Emmy and RTS nominations.

Motherland Series 3 cast

Motherland Series 3 has been nominated for Best Comedy Series.

Also nominated in this category are: Afterlife, Mandy, Sex Education, Stath Lets Flats, The Outlaws.

Motherland is directed by Simon Hynd, produced by Caroline Norris and story edited by Sharon Horgan. Executive producers are Clelia Mountford, Sharon Horgan, Holly Walsh and Ben Caudell (for the BBC). Helen Serafinowicz is associate producer.⁠ Motherland stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Lucy Punch, Diane Morgan, Paul Ready, Tanya Moodie and Philippa Dunne. The series is a co-production between Merman Television and Twofour for the BBC.
