MERMAN WINS RTS CRAFT & DESIGN AWARD FOR FRAYED

The Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards 2020 were held this evening, with Sheldon Wade announced as winner in the category of ‘Make Up Design – Entertainment & Non Drama’ for his work on Frayed. The other nominees in this category were Kate Roberts & Team for In My Skin and Marcos Gurgel for Dancing On Ice.

Sheldon was congratulated by the jury for creating work with “subtlety and nuance”.

Frayed was previously nominated for 5 2019 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards and Sarah Kendall was nominated in the Female Performance in a Comedy Programme category in the 2020 BAFTA Television Awards. Frayed received international acclaim and is available to watch in the UK on Now TV and in the US on HBO Max.
