Guy Manwaring began his career with stints as a creative at St Luke’s and Leith, but luckily for us, he soon turned his attention to directing and has been a revelation ever since. And a damn funny one at that.
His portfolio is brimming with colourful comedy performances, having directed for a myriad of blue-chip brands including Amazon, Sainsbury’s, Specsavers, Santander, Warburtons and Marks & Spencer, picking up numerous awards in the process. In 2023, Guy directed his first foray in full animation for Great Western Railway, and in 2025, he directed the live-action for Women’s Aid’s Monster Who Came To Tea, a standout campaign that was awarded Gold at the British Arrow.
He is an expert when it comes to witty casting, story beats and crafting worlds where the everyday often collides with the absurd to produce that dry wit us brits love to see on our screens. He is without a doubt, one of the most sought after comedy directors in the biz, and an absolute joy to work with.
