James Griffiths

James Griffiths is a seasoned storyteller with an established career in commercial and longer-form filmmaking. In the commercial space, he has directed an array of heartwarming and comedic campaigns for brands including Adidas, Warburtons, Barclays, Strongbow and Virgin Media.
In longer-form, James has found tremendous success, as a writer, director and increasingly show runner. He directed Episodes – starring Matt Le Blanc, Steven Mangan and Tamsin Greig, alongside pilots and several episodes of hit shows such as Black-ish, Wrecked and Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life.
Most recently, he was a key director for season two of the BAFTA winning Merman show Bad Sisters and has recently released his critically acclaimed and undeniably affecting feature The Ballad of Wallis Island starring Carey Mulligan, Tim Key and Tom Basden.
