Brady Hood

Brady is a director who is passionate about telling commercially accessible stories paired with social commentary.

After working as an assistant to directors such as Joe Wright, Lone Scherfig and Otto Bathurst, Brady was accepted onto the MA Directing Fiction course at the NFTS. Graduating in 2016, his graduation short film ‘Sweet Maddie Stone’ won various awards including ‘Best British Short’ at the Critics’ Circle Film Awards, ‘Brief Grand Prix Award’ at Bristol Encounters Film Festival, and the Audience Vote at ODEON’S ‘Best Short Films of the Year’. That same year he launched season 5 of Endeavour for ITV and Mammoth Screen, and was subsequently featured as a ‘Screen International Star of Tomorrow.’ 

More recently he directed 4 episodes of Top Boy for Netflix and Cowboy Films and 4 episodes of BBC One’s remake of Great Expectations starring Olivia Colman.
