MERMAN RECEIVES BAFTA TV NOMINATIONS

This morning the nominations for the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards were announced. Merman’s shows have been nominated for two awards.

Motherland Series 3 has been nominated for Scripted Comedy. Also nominated in this category are:

We Are Lady Parts

Motherland is directed by Simon Hynd, produced by Caroline Norris and story edited by Sharon Horgan. Executive producers are Clelia Mountford, Sharon Horgan, Holly Walsh and Ben Caudell (for the BBC). Helen Serafinowicz is associate producer.⁠ Motherland stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Lucy Punch, Diane Morgan, Paul Ready, Tanya Moodie and Philippa Dunne. The series is a co-production between Merman Television and Twofour for the BBC.⁠

Aisling Bea has been nominated for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for her performance in This Way Up Series 2. Also nominated in this category are:
