Women on the Verge has been nominated for 2 Broadcasting Press Guild Awards. The show is up for Best Comedy and Best of Multichannel.

Women on the Verge was a co-production between Merman, House Productions and Deadpan Pictures airing on UKTV’s W and RTÉ2 in Ireland. The show was created by Sharon Horgan and Lorna Martin, an adaptation of Lorna’s successful novel Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown. It stars Kerry Condon as Laura, Nina Sosanya as Katie and Eileen Walsh as Alison. Sharon Horgan also appeared as Dr Fitzgerald.

The series was directed by Annie Griffin, produced by Gavin O’Grady and the executive producers were Sharon Horgan, Clelia Mountford, Juliette Howell, Tessa Ross, Ailish McElmeel, Justin Healy, Pete Thornton and Joe McVey.

The BPG Awards will take place at the Theatre Royal on the 16th March 2019.
