Major VMA Nominations for Merman

The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced this week, and we’re thrilled to see three Merman-produced projects recognized across some of the night’s most prestigious categories.
Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” received an incredible seven nominations, including Video of the Year, Best Pop, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Choreography, and Best Visual Effects. The music video for “Opalite” was also recognized with a nomination for Best Direction.
Recently signed to Merman for commercial direction, Parris Goebel also received recognition for her work on Lady Gaga and Doechii’s “Runway,” earning nominations for Best Art Direction and Best Dance.
